Ryan Joshua Mahindapala FRSA is a Singaporean author and poet. He is the author of the novella, Spottisbrough (2021). His work has appeared in Kadamundu The Spice Road ReviewMingled Voices 5 (2021), Mingled Voices 7 (2023), TODAY Gen Y Speaks and many more. He frequently speaks and writes on topics related to heritage, culture and identity and was a featured author at the Singapore Writers Festival 2023. Ryan is an elected Fellow of The Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, UK (The RSA) and received a nomination for the Pushcart Prize for his poetry. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (2:1) from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Business Administration (Merit) from the University of Strathclyde. He was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in May 2020. Ryan has held leadership positions as committee member of the Triathlon Association of Singapore - Technical Committee (2020-2022) and the Peranakan Indian (Chitty Melaka) Association of Singapore (2020-2021).
